Born on 31st May, 1959. Did schooling from St. Xavier's School, Sahebganj and passed Indian School Certificate Examination in 1975. Did Graduation from Hindu College, Delhi University and Post Graduation from Delhi University and LL.B. from Campus Law Centre(Law Faculty), Delhi University. Enrolled as an Advocate with Bihar State Bar Council and practiced in the District Courts in the criminal as well as civil matters. Joined Bihar Superior Judicial Service as Addl. District Judge on 11.06.1997. Posted as ADJ at Dumka, Patna and Dhanbad and as AJC cum Special Judge, CBI, AHD cases at Ranchi from June, 2001 to Feb,2003. Promoted as District Judge on 01.03.2003 and also worked as Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Ranchi and Family Court at Ranchi. Posted as District Judge at Latehar, Dumka and Deoghar and as Chairman, Appellate Tribunal, RRDA, Ranchi. Posted as Registrar(Vigilance and Administration), Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi. Appointed as Law Secretary, Department of Law and Justice, Government of Jharkhand. Elevated as Additional Judge of Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi on 18.09.2013.

Superannuated on 30th of May 2021.
