chief justice of the High Court of Jharkhand

Nelavoy dhinakar, B.A, B.L., was born on june 10, 1944. he was enrolled as an advocate on january 31, 1968. he practised in the madras high court in criminal and constitutional cases involving preventive detention laws. He worked as an additional public prosecutor and as a defence lawyer. He worked as government advocate in the high court from june 17, 1988 to march 22, 1989. he was appointed as a special public prosecutor to conduct important cases. He was appointed as a permanent judge of the madras high court on october 17, 1994 and transferred to the kerala high court on november 30, 1994. he was transferred back to the madras high court on march 5, 1999. he was appointed as the chief justice of the jharkhand high court on december 4, 2005. retired on june 10, 2006.
