Hon'ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Kumar

High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi

Justice Rajesh Kumar has completed his schooling from Ranchi. Completed his graduation in Mathematical Statistics from Kirori Mal College of University of Delhi in 1990.

Attended Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi and completed his L.L.B. in 1993.

He enrolled as an Advocate with Bar Council of Delhi in 1994. Practiced primarily at District Courts Tis Hazari, New Delhi.

Thereafter, shifted to Ranchi and practiced in High Court of Jharkhand in Civil, Criminal, Constitutional, Arbitration and Service litigation.

Served as Government Pleader for the State of Jharkhand in the Judicature of the High Court of Jharkhand. Several Govt. Organizations like Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi, Jharkhand Academic Council, Jharkhand State Electricity Board, Bihar State Hydro Electric Power Corporation Ltd. and various Universities etc.

Takes keen interest in extra judicial activities and has addressed and participated in various Seminars and Conferences of National Repute.

He was appointed as an Additional Judge of High Court of Jharkhand with effect from 06/01/2018 and took oath as a Permanent Judge of that Court on 19/12/2019.
