About The Facility

Day Care Centre/Crèche at High Court of Jharkhand

The Day Care Centre/Crèche of the High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi, is established on the ground floor of Typist Block-II within the High Court premises at Dhurwa, Ranchi. It has been set up to provide safe, hygienic, and nurturing day care services for the children of Officers and staff of the High Court of Jharkhand, Members of the Registry, and Members of the Advocate's Associations practicing at the High Court.

The Crèche caters to children up to 7 years of age and functions from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday (on working days of the High Court). The facility includes comfortable sleeping and activity areas for children, a pantry for warming food and milk, child-friendly toilets and adequate indoor and outdoor play areas, CCTV surveillance with secure daily login access for parents, basic first-aid facilities and access to the High Court Medical Dispensary for emergencies.

Children below one year of age are cared for under the supervision of a skilled nurse experienced in neonatal care. Parents are required to submit a duly filled Admission Form and Declaration/Undertaking and to strictly adhere to the prescribed rules regarding timings, health, and safety.

No, food is not provided. Parents must send food, milk, feeders, fruits, and other necessary items. However, a refrigerator and induction cook are available for storage and warming. Water filter is also available.

Yes, a basic first-aid kit is available, and medical assistance, including two appointed nursing staff for neonates, can be obtained from the High Court Medical Dispensary if required.

CCTV surveillance is installed throughout the facility. Parents receive daily secure access via a QR code, login ID, and password (changed daily). Only authorized persons (as declared by parents) can pick up the child. Proper registers are maintained for drop and pickup records.

Children must be picked up by 5:00 PM sharp. In case of repeated delay, Crèche facilities may be withdrawn. If the child remains uncollected, they may be handed over to an authorized child-care agency, and the cost will be borne by the parent/guardian.

No. Parents must refrain from sending an unwell child to ensure the health and safety of others.

Parents should send: Food, milk, and feeder; Diapers and wipes; A spare set of clothes and footwear; Any prescribed medicine (with written dosage instructions).
